In the all-new Wednesday episode of MYTHBUSTERS, Adam and Jamie imagine that they get a flat tire with no spare or person to help in sight. Their only solution would be to reinvent the wheel, quite literally. They get creative by using tree branches, hay and water bottles, but will their MacGyver-esque solutions work, or will they be stranded? Meanwhile, Grant, Tory and Kari take on a fishy situation. The story states that a fisherman in the Bahamas hooked the mother of all marlins; however, instead of being reeled in, it turned on its tail and swam fast to save its life. The tenacious fish swam so fast that the line on the fisherman’s reel spooled out at stupendous speed and the friction caused it to catch on fire, allowing the marlin to fight another day. In true MYTHBUSTERS fashion, the trio busts out a go-kart to put this fishy myth to the test.
