Here’s trailer giving a sneak peek of what is contained in the Avatar Extended Collector’s Edition Blu-ray and DVD due from Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment on November 16th. Not only will there be an extended version of the film with 16 minutes added, but there will also be over 45 minutes of additional deleted scenes available as a separate feature. What I’m really looking forward to is all the behind-the-scenes documentaries showing how the film was put together. Whether or not you think he succeeded or failed, you can’t deny that Cameron keeps pushing beyond the limits of what filmmaking is capable of and inspiring future films. For what it’s worth, I think Avatar is one of the best films of the last decade. Anyway, check out the video and package image and prepare to see Avatar in a whole new way on November 16th.
