New ‘The Pacific’ Trailer Is Here!

THE PACIFIC: The epic ten-part miniseries event tracks the intertwined journeys of three U.S. Marines – Robert Leckie (James Badge Dale), Eugene Sledge (Joe Mazzello) and John Basilone (Jon Seda) – across the vast canvas of the Pacific Theater during World War II. THE PACIFIC follows these men and their fellow Marines from their first battle with the Japanese on Guadalcanal, through the rain forests of Cape Gloucester and the strongholds of Peleliu, across the bloody sands of Iwo Jima and Okinawa, and finally to their triumphant but uneasy return home after V-J Day. The HBO Miniseries presentation of a Playtone and DreamWorks production is executive produced by Tom Hanks, Steven Spielberg and Gary Goetzman, the producing team behind the Emmy®- and Golden Globe-winning 2001 HBO miniseries “Band of Brothers.” Hanks and Goetzman also executive produced the HBO miniseries “John Adams,” which won a record-breaking 13 Emmys® in 2008. Debuts March 2010.

Super Bowl XLIII Film Ads!

I know I’m in a distinct minority here, but the only thing that interests me about the Super Bowl each year is the advertisements, and usually only the ones promoting the latest films and TV shows. Thanks to the wonder that is the Internet, I don’t even need to endure the game anymore. In that spirit we will be adding the latest Film and TV ads to this article all through the weekend and probably into Monday and Tuesday, so keep checking back often. Also, look for further commentary on the ads once they’re all up.

[UPDATED] – The film ads will now be contained here. If there are any good ones for TV shows, we will add a second article.
