As the finale of the current series draws near, here’s a look at Doctor Who statistics over the past 48 years of the show, specifically looking at ratings, but also taking a look at how long each actor has been in the role and some of the more popular stories. I think the biggest thing that can be gleaned from this is that the show is still as popular as it has ever been and it is most definitely gaining in popularity in the States. It’s taken nearly half a century, but American mainstream audiences may just be finally catching on to the awesomeness that is Doctor Who!
