Disney’s John Carter Gets A Trailer

The very first John Carter story appeared in the February 1912 edition of All-Story, entitled Under the Moons of Mars. Edgar Rice Burroughs had intended to use the pen name Normal Bean to indicate he wasn’t deranged for creating such a fantastical tale. Unfortunately, a typesetter thought the first part was a typo, so he was credited as Norman Bean. 100 years later, Walt Disney Pictures is bringing the first John Carter of Mars story to life in the film simply called John Carter. Here is the first trailer, which has me all kinds of excited for this adaptation. Check it out below and prepare to go to a Mars unlike any other in 2012!
