Namor, the Sub-Mariner has had a few spotlights and solo series over the years, but I believe this marks the first time he’s had a direct association with the X-Men. He’s been called Marvel’s first mutant for a long tie now so it only makes sense that he join the ranks of Marvel’s preeminent mutant team, the X-Men.
