As announced here previously and elaborated upon at C2E2, Jim Shooter is bringing the Gold Key characters to Dark Horse Comics this year, starting with Doctor Solar and Magnus, Robot Hunter. Shooter previously helped revitalized both characters at Valiant Comics in the early 1990’s and clearly still has great affection for them. Shooter will be writing both titles and the artists have been announced as Dennis Calero for Doctor Solar and Bill Reinhold for Magnus, Robot Fighter. Both books get a kick-start on Free Comic Book Day in a double feature style comic and we have a preview of that for you below. Enjoy!
