Syfy’s annual New Year’s Twilight Zone marathon is now a firmly rooted tradition and returns again this year. However, the channel has a few more presents for you over the holidays as Syfy also presents Ghost Hunters and Stargate Universe as well as the first three films in the Saw franchise. To celebrate the holiday season, Syfy decorates its schedule with a wide range of programming treats from paranormal visitors to deep space drama. Running Wednesday, December 23, through Saturday, January 2, the 11-day festival is highlighted by the traditional New Year’s Eve, 46-hour marathon of the TV classic The Twilight Zone.
Syfy kicks off the holiday festival with ghosts of Christmas past, a twenty-eight episode marathon of Ghost Hunters. The best of the #1 paranormal investigative series on television runs Wednesday, December 23, from 7PM-12AM (ET/PT), resuming Christmas Eve, Thursday, December 24, from 8AM-5AM (ET/PT).
On Christmas Day, Friday, December 25, Syfy presents a Stargate Universe marathon during the 8:30AM-5:30PM (ET/PT) time period, followed on Saturday, December 26, by a different twist on the season of giving with Saw I, Saw II and Saw III airing 4:30-9PM (ET/PT).
The annual The Twilight Zone marathon starts Thursday, December 31, at 8AM (ET/PT), and throughout Friday, January 1, before concluding at 6AM (ET/PT) Saturday, January 2. This year’s theme is “Twist Endings,” featuring uncut episodes and special interstitials, airing December 31 and January 1 from 7PM-12AM (ET/PT).
