A couple of days ago Forbidden Planet announced a new wave of classic Doctor Who from Character Options/Underground Toys that are pretty spectacular. It turns out that the British retailer has accidentally spilled the beans on this year’s exclusive figures that will be available at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con. The pictures are below and I’ve already decided I must have them. The fact that they are releasing both Black & White and Color versions of the first two Doctors is way beyond cool. The sixth Doctor will be sporting the blue outfit that has been described in numerous novels and Big Finish audio plays, but never seen on screen. I believe that now only leaves the third, seventh and eighth Doctors that do not have figures yet. I really need a complete set of figures for all eleven Doctors and soon. Less than six months to go until SDCC 2009, start saving your spending money now!
