At long last Outlander is finally coming to the big screens of the new world. If you haven’t heard of the movie, listen up. Take a bunch of Vikings, add in one stranded alien, then put them up against a dragon and you have a movie that I know must see. Outlander stars James Caviezel (The Passion of the Christ) as Kainan, an alien who crashes to Earth while transporting a murderous dragon-like creature. Kainan teams up with local Vikings to battle against the creature who, judging from the trailer is bent on pretty much killing everyone.

The movie also stars Sophia Myles (Tristan & Isolde) as Freya, Jack Huston (The Garden of Eden) as Wulfric, John Hurt (Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull) as Rothgar and even Ron Perlman (Hellboy) as Gunnar. It is also worthy to note that one of the producers is Barrie M. Osborne (Lord of the Rings).
