Finally, a trailer for Ghostbusters: The Video Game has landed over at Joystiq!
After a great deal of skepticism emerged as to whether the game would be published at all, Joystiq reported in early November that Atari would be setting a release date of June 2009. The jury is still out on whether this game will be worth the wait, but fans eager to get their hands on their own unlicensed nuclear accelerator should at least get a kick out of this trailer.
I had hoped for some actual game footage, but there seems to be all cinematics here, which frankly leave a bit to be desired. Still, the concept of an interactive adventure with the Ghostbusters, written by and starring the original cast should deliver. This one has been a long time coming, let’s hope they get it right.
