Are you going to be at Emerald City Comicon this weekend (hint: your answer should be “yes”)? If so, ComiXology has a treat for you. Following up on their awesome giveaway at Wondercon, the digital comic book store will be giving away codes for a free copy of The Walking Dead Vol. 1. They will only have 2500 of these so you should make Booth #308 one of your first stops. I would say you could get your copies signed by series creator Robert Kirkman and stars of the TV series Jon Bernthal and Laurie Holden, all of whom are special guests at the show, but I’m not really sure how that would work with a digital comic. I suppose you could get them to sign your mobile device, but that could get messy. At any rate, stop by the ComiXology booth for this great freebie and make sure you have their app installed on your iPhone, iPad, Android, Kindle Fire or computer and enjoy the formative issues of Robert Kirkman’s now-timeless classic.
