According to the latest Doctor Who Magazine, now out in England, former Farscape and Stargate-SG-1 actor Ben Browder has signed up to appear in an upcoming episode of Doctor Who. The episode is scheduled to be third in airing order and will be set in the American Wild West, although it is shooting in Spain. Written by Being Human‘s Toby Whithouse and directed by Saul Metzstein, the currently untitled episode also stars series regulars Matt Smith, Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill. Browder recently boosted his geek cred with a gust-stint during the final season of Chuck and is still attached to the upcoming noir web series Naught For Hire. The new season of Doctor Who will begin airing later this year.
