When MythBusters returns Wednesday, June 22 at 9:00 PM, Jamie and Adam take on another Hollywood myth by pursuing one of the most thought-provoking scenes in the movie The Mummy – a particular scene when a group of archaeologists use ancient mirrors to project sunlight into a deep underground tunnel in order to illuminate an ancient tomb. In an attempt to prove or disprove this myth, Adam and Jamie decide to take on the roles of tomb raiders as they anxiously test out the ancient mirrors.
Meanwhile, Tory, Kari and Grant investigate one of the craziest car crash myths. The intrepid trio tests whether or not they can stop a high-speed runaway car by using another car to pull in front of the runaway and stop it. Typically, danger is not an issue for these eager MYTHBUSTERS.
