CONTEST: Help Find A Cure For Cystic Fibrosis And Win!

This will be my third year participating in the annual Great Strides walk in Portland, OR to help find a cure to Cystic Fibrosis. To the left is a picture of our friend, Ella. Ella has CF and doesn’t always have an easy time of it. Frankly, I’m a little frustrated that I have to continue to do this, not because of the actual walk part (that’s really fun, extremely easy and in the company of terrific people), but because CF is curable. There are several possible cures being researched right now, except for the fact there are not enough funds to bring them to trial or to be considered important enough to proceed with. There could be someone dying from CF right now that might have the intelligence to find the cure for cancer or similarly change the world. Take a moment, along with a few dollars, to get CF out of the way and cure those currently afflicted with it.
