One of the best things about Emerald City Comicon is its continued focus on small press and independent publishers. This year we chose to focus our attention on as many indie publishers as we were able to. One book that immediately caught our attention was Miriam Libicki’s jobnick!, a highly personal series about Libicki’s time in the Israeli Army. Through her Real Gone Girl Studios, Libicki has also written and drawn several books about being not only Jewish, but also sharing Israeli and American heritages.
