“EPISODE FIVE” Airs Sunday, February 6 at 9:30 PM on Showtime

Sean (Stephen Mangan) and Beverly Lincoln (Tamsin Greig) have done their best to maintain both their integrity and sanity as they make their way through the maddening world of the American television business. While Beverly has been able to resist the narcissistic pull of Hollywood, Sean, through his budding friendship with Matt LeBlanc (Matt LeBlanc), has not been so successful. They’ve lost control of their prescious ‘Lyman Boys’ which has turned into ‘Pucks’. Now will Sean lose his self-control and give-in to Morning Randolph’s (Mircea Monroe) seductive charms?
This show remains consistently funny and entertaining. Matt LeBlanc continues to be lovably unlikable and Stephen Mangan and Tamsin Greig carry the strangers-in-a-strange-land with aplomb, yet they continue to be quintessentially British and endearing. I’ve never wanted to see two people to conquer and reshape Hollywood as much as I want Sean and Beverly to. The bad news is there are only two more episodes left in the season, but the good news is the funny and madcap hi-jinks are ramped up even more so in those last two installments. Here’s hoping Showtime sees the wisdom in ordering more Episodes.
