The season opener left off with King Uther being driven mad by a spell placed upon him by Morgana and Morgause, and Merlin just rescued by the Great Dragon from an army of giant scorpions – but not before the young wizard had been stung with the creature’s deadly venom.
In “The Tears of Uther Pendragon, Part 2,” Morgana and Morgause continue with their evil plan – keeping Uther mentally incapacitated and convincing his enemy, Cenred, to invade Camelot. The fate of the kingdom now rests on Arthur’s shoulders … unless Merlin can heal in time to help save Camelot – and deal with any other tricks these witches might be preparing to unleash.
