December’s Avengers #8 sees the return of the Marvel Universe’s super-secret thinktank The Illuminati. Originally comprised of Iron Man, Mister Fantastic, Namor, Black Bolt, Professor Xavier, Black Panther (who quit during the group’s initial meeting), and Doctor Strange, this covert team eventually fell apart during Civil War. Now, with conflicts of the last few years resolved, it appears the group is reuniting, this time consisting of Iron Man, Mister Fantastic, Stephen Strange and the Inhuman’s Medusa. We’ll have to wait until Avengers #8 to find out what this all portends.
