If you’re as psyched as me to see any scrap of news or tidbit relating to AMC’s take on The Prisoner, you’re in luck. In preparation of the fresh Rover-goodness kicking off on Sunday, a new The Prisoner web-comic has just debuted online, and there’s also a wealth of clips and cool happenings around the ‘net.
The web-comic is being called an “interactive graphic novel,” which I don’t understand, since the only interactive part is clicking “Next Page” (nevermind the fact that it’s the most websitey-shaped graphic novel I’ve ever seen). But that aside, the first chapter introduces us The Village’s newest resident, Rebecaa Meadows, and a curious case of window-crashing, as part of a prologue to a story that promises to reveal more insight into the ever-mysterious Village.
The next chapter will be revealed after the finale November 17th.

*********************************
The Prisoner will air over three consecutive nights, with two episodes each evening, from 8PM to 10PM ET on AMC.
A man, known as “Six,” finds himself inexplicably trapped in “The Village” with no memory of how he arrived. As he explores his environment, he discovers that his fellow inhabitants are identified by number instead of name, have no memory of any prior existence, and are under constant surveillance. Not knowing whom to trust, Six is driven by the need to discover the truth behind The Village, the reason for his being there, and most importantly — how he can escape.
Two-time Academy Award nominee Ian McKellen (Lord of the Rings, X-Men) plays the role of Two, and Jim Caviezel (The Passion of the Christ, The Thin Red Line) plays the role of Six.
