Marvel Comics just sent over the below image with the caption “Marvel’s Original Cosmic Avenger Returns!” and the solicit for November’s Realm of Kings one-shot. The first Quasar, Wendell Vaughn, was killed in the first Annihilation event, but has recently returned as a being of energy in Nova. This would seem to indicate that he is about to come full circle and return as Quasar. Phyla-Vell took up the mantle of Quasar upon Vaughn’s death, but had recently lost her quantum bands in battle. We’ll see how this all shakes out in a few weeks!
