My inner soundtrack collector now has a new obsession, and it’s name is the Watchmen soundtrack. Mark your calendars for March 3rd (that’s three days before the film’s release) to make sure you pick up your copy of the soundtrack and score! The tracklistings are below as well as links to pre-order them from Amazon. In Addition to the CDs below, Warner Sunset/Reprise Records will also release the soundtrack on vinyl on March 17th. That’s not all. March 24th sees the release of the Watchmen Music Collectors Edition 7″ Box Set. This set includes seven double-sided 7″ picture discs of each Watchmen character on one side, and images from the graphic novel on the other. The discs will include My Chemical Romance’s song “Desolation Row,” from the soundtrack and thirteen tracks by Tyler Bates from the score. I may need to break down and finally buy a turntable of some sort.
