Shirley Manson, the lead singer of Garbage, is going to try her hand at acting as she takes on a regular role next season on the Fox show “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles,” THR reported today.
The Fox sci-fi series, is based on the “Terminator” movie franchise, will be returning for a second season in the fall with Manson playing Catherine Weaver, the CEO of a high-tech company.
The show, which was the highest-rated new scripted series of the 2007-08 season, stars Lena Headey as Sarah Connor, Thomas Dekker as her son John Connor and Summer Glau as terminator Cameron Phillips.
