The new Torchwood series, subtitled Miracle Day, premieres in the US on STARZ July 8. No word yet on the BBC premiere date, but expect it ’round then. Here’s the first full look we’ve had, featuring the characters and the basic premise. I have to say this looks pretty amazing so far. The new characters are very interesting and the continuity back to the original show is spot on (look, there’s PC Andy/Tom Price!) and John Barrowman is true to form as Jack Harkness. Also nice to see that being a mama bear hasn’t slowed down Gwen Cooper at all as Eve Myles goes toe to toe with the impressive additions. I am ready for this now!
