Christian Kane’s “The House Rules” Video

Leverage may be on break, gearing up for season four, but that doesn’t mean Christian Kane is taking it easy. He’s out promoting his music and in a video battle on CMT! Here’s all the details!

Country Music Television (CMT) has thrown its support behind Christian and the music video “THE HOUSE RULES.” The brand new music video will debut on “CMT Big New Music Weekend” beginning at 6:00 AM EST on Friday, October 1st through Sunday, October 3rd. Christian will be featured along with some of country music’s hottest new stars and superstars including Keith Urban, Brad Paisley, Sara Evans, and Jerrod Niemann. These will be the only eight videos featured throughout the weekend and fans will have the chance to vote “THE HOUSE RULES” for their favorite new video on www.CMT.com.

Christian’s video for “The House Rules” was shot at Dante’s in Portland, Oregon. It was directed by Leverage co-star and Academy Award Winner Timothy Hutton and edited by Hutton’s son, Noah. Says Kane, “One of my best friends in the world, Mr. Timothy Hutton directed the video and it was such a collaboration of the band, the company, and friend’s hard work and dedication” said Christian. “We had 400 fans show up to be in the video so there were no extras, just friends having a good time and we couldn’t have done it without them. I really hope people have as much fun watching it as we did making it!”

Christian is currently out on the road on a rigorous radio tour across the country in support of his debut single “The House Rules.” The “Director’s Cut” version of the video will be made available for fans to purchase on iTunes starting October 19th. Fans outside of the USA who cannot access CMT.com will be able to watch the video on Christian’s YouTube channel beginning on October 4th.
