The DC Comics/Vertigo comic book series Fables
is getting another chance at being produced as a TV series. NBC previously put the highly-acclaimed series into development intending it for their 2006-7 season, but nothing came of it. This time ABC is giving it a try. Six Degrees creators/executive producers Stu Zicherman and Raven Metzner are writing the pilot and David Semel has been tapped to direct. The comic is written by Bill Willingham and I hope they bring him on board as a consultant and even ask him to pen some scripts, should it go to series.
